Betty
6 Cubic Metres

Betty is our compact 6 cubic metre van, perfect for smaller moves, transporting moving boxes, picking up furniture or delivering parcels.

With sliding doors on both sides and double rear doors, Betty provides easy access when loading and unloading. She is also fitted with a cargo barrier and caged sides to help keep your items secure during transport.

Betty is a convenient and affordable option when you don’t need the space of a full-size moving truck.

Jerry, Merv, Percy & Walter
20 Cubic Metres

We have 7 trucks that can be driven on an open car license and have automatic transmissions. They are approximately 20 cubic meters or 4.4M long x 2.15M high x 2.15M wide with a 600kg tuck away tailgate loader to make moving heavy items easier.

They also have reverse cameras and 2 internal lights for easy visibility, as well as side rails with plenty of height options to tie down and secure items to the side of the truck. There are also 6 straps included in your hire.

Albert & Bob
20 Cubic Metres

Albert and Bob are 20 cubic metre, 4.5-tonne automatic Pantech trucks, each fitted with a full-size 1-tonne tailgate loader. Both can be driven on an open car licence, making them a great option for moving bulky, oversized or heavy items without requiring a truck licence.

Both trucks are equipped with reverse cameras and two internal lights for improved visibility. They also feature adjustable side rails, providing plenty of options for tying down and securing your items during transport. Six straps are included with every hire.

Albert and Bob are particularly well suited to moving heavy or oversized items and are a great choice for properties with steep driveways where easier access is needed.

Kevin
36 Cubic Metres

From $240/day inc GST

Kevin is an Isuzu 10 pallet pantech with a side door and a tuck away 1 tonne tailgate loader. Equipped with a reverse camera and internal lights for visibility.

Kevin has a manual transmission and requires an MR truck licence.

Kevin will have the same standard inclusions as our other trucks.

Fred
39 Cubic Metres

From $260/day inc GST

Fred is a 2020 Isuzu 10 pallet pantech with a side door and full sized 2 tonne tailgate loader. Fred has an automatic transmission and requires a minimum of an MR truck licence.

Fred also has a reverse camera and internal lights for easy visibility.

Fred will have all the same standard inclusions as our other trucks.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the truck have a tailgate loader?

YES! All of our trucks have a tailgate loader. The smaller trucks and Franklin all have a 600kg tuck away tailgate loader and Fred has a full size 2 tonne tailgate loader.

What time is pick up?

We open via appointment so we can maintain flexibility with our booking times.

What if I am driving further than 200 kilometers?

Driving extra kilometres is not a problem at all. Additional kilometres are charged at 30 cents each for the small trucks, 40 cents each for Franklin and 50 cents each for Fred. If you are driving a long distance please feel free to email or call us for a quote including the additional kilometres.

Can I return the truck earlier?

All our hires are 23 hour hire but we do have an after hours key return so the truck can be returned at any time during the hire period.

Do I need to pay a bond?

Yes, our bonds typically start at $250 for the smaller trucks and Franklin and $500 for Fred for a local move. This amount is determined by how far you are travelling, if you are travelling further please contact us for a quote for the bond price.
